They immediately bounced back by winning the Superettan title in 2018 and securing promotion to the Allsvenskan once again.

Today, Gif Sundsvall is a stable and competitive team in the Allsvenskan, with a dedicated fan base and a strong community presence. The club is committed to youth development and has produced several talented players who have gone on to play for the Swedish national team.
