New York Improves to 35-27, Pacers Fall to 29-33
The New York Knicks extended their winning streak to five games on Tuesday night with a 130-121 victory over the Indiana Pacers. Nikola Jokić led the way for the Knicks with 18 points, while RJ Barrett added 17 and Julius Randle chipped in with 16.
The Knicks jumped out to a quick start and never looked back, leading by as many as 19 points in the first half. The Pacers cut the lead to just five points late in the third quarter, but the Knicks responded with a 10-0 run to put the game away.
With the win, the Knicks improve to 35-27 on the season and move into sole possession of fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Pacers, meanwhile, fall to 29-33 and are now in danger of missing the playoffs.
The two teams will meet again on Friday night at Madison Square Garden.
